Perfect Mitani Chicken Salt Chips Receipe

Some would say the reason chicken salt was created was an addition to hot chips.

In This post we will share with you the receipe to the best Chicken Salt chips.

Ingredients:

  1. Mitani Chicken Salt (BUY NOW)
  2. 6 large potatoes
  3. 1 litre of vegetable oil (suitable for deep frying)

Method

  1. Wash the potatoes. Slice whole (unpeeled) potatoes width ways into 7-10mm slices.
  2. Rinse the potatoes in cold water until water runs clear.
  3. Drain the potatoes and remove any excess moisture with a tea towel.
  4. Heat half the oil over a medium heat in a large, thick bottomed pan enough until it reaches a moderate frying temperature.
  5. Par cook the potatoes in the oil for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Remove the potatoes with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel.
  7. Add the other oil into a fresh large, thick bottomed pan enough until it reaches a hot frying temperature.
  8. Return the potatoes to the hot oil and fry until golden and crispy.
  9. Remove the potatoes with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel.
  10. Sprinkle liberally with Mitani Chicken Salt. Serve immediately.
